Plaka is one of the most beautiful beaches of Pelion. It’s rather sandy with some small pebbles and a green hill with lush vegetation in the background.
Accessing the beach is only possible on foot. You can park your car at the port of Agios Ioannis and from there a rocky trail will take you to Plaka beach. There should also be a trail on the left-hand side of the beach.
In the middle of the beach, you can find some sunchairs and umbrellas belonging to Hotel Eden, which I believe you can rent if you want.
However, Plaka beach its charm is its wild and rugged character which is best enjoyed if you stay on the right-hand side of the beach.
